William Holman is a litigation attorney at the Law Offices of Michael A. DeMayo, L.L.P.

Mr. Holman received his B.A. in political science, philosophy and economics in 1999 from Denison University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He completed law school in 2002 at Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was captain of the American Association for Justice Trial Team (2001) and recipient of the Robert Goldberg Award for excellence in trial advocacy (2002).

Additionally, he was elected “Most Outstanding Advocate” for Wake Forest by the NC Academy of Trial Lawyers (2001), a member of the Moot Court Board (2001-2002), and elected by faculty to the Order of the Barristers (2002).

Mr. Holman was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2002 and is licensed to practice in North Carolina state court and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. His affiliations include the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Advocates for Justice and Mecklenburg County Bar.

Mr. Holman and his wife, an attorney who practices bankruptcy law, met at law school. He is a member of the Elizabeth Community Association, Young Affiliates of the Mint Museum and The Light Factory. He enjoys running (he ran three half marathons in 2010), scuba diving and photography.
