Born in Lincolnton, North Carolina, Ms. Rhodes received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1974, and her M.A. from Western Carolina University in 1981.

She went on to complete law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1987, and was admitted to the state bar that same year. She is licensed to practice in all courts in North Carolina and U.S. District Court in Western and Middle District Courts of North Carolina.

Ms. Rhodes affiliations include the North Carolina State Bar, American Association for Justice, the North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Advocates for Justice, Mecklenburg County Bar, Phi Alpha Delta and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Additionally, Ms. Rhodes is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law.

In her time outside of the office, Ms. Rhodes enjoys travel, theatre, the beach or lake, walking her Shetland Sheepdog, Casey, and entertaining friends and family.
