Mothers Against Drunk Driving

The Law Offices of Michael A. DeMayo, L.L.P. are pleased to help raise funds and awareness for Mothers Against Drunk Driving programs and services that will make our community safer and help combat drinking and driving.

Since 2009, our firm has sponsored Walk Like MADD, an annual 5K event that helps raise money to support programs for victims of drunk driving and programs to prevent drunk driving and underage drinking.

Dozens of LOMAD employees and their families tied up their laces to help raise more than $2,500 for the walk. In 2009, Mr. DeMayo served as honorary chairman for this worthwhile cause.

Additionally, in October 2010, the firm held a month-long fundraising campaign where it donated $1 to MADD for every new person who ‘liked’ the firm’s Facebook page. When the campaign ended, Mr. DeMayo was proud to present Craig Lloyd, MADD State Executive Director, with a $710 check.

DeMayo’s Facebook campaign,” Mr. Lloyd said. “Not only will the financial support help fund our lifesaving programs and services, but the social media exposure helped increase our mission to new avenues. The law firm is a strong partner with MADD-NC to help eliminate drunk driving and save lives.”
