CHARLOTTE, NC (February 11, 2008) – William Wallace has joined the Law Offices of Michael A. DeMayo, L.L.P. ® as a workers’ compensation attorney.
Prior to joining the DeMayo Law offices, Wallace was an associate at DeVore, Acton & Stafford, P.A., where he handled a variety of civil litigation matters, including workers’ compensation, personal injury, construction defect claims and contract disputes. He also was an attorney at Chandler, Hart & Wallace PL.L.C, where he handled civil litigation and workers’ compensation claims.
Additionally, Wallace is a part-time paralegal studies instructor at Central Piedmont Community College, where he has taught courses in ethics, workers’ compensation and civil litigation. Wallace also is fluent in Spanish and is a certified Superior Court mediator.

Wallace received his Bachelor of Arts in political science in 1992 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Juris Doctor in 1998 from the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law.
Wallace was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1998 and is licensed to practice in North Carolina state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, Mecklenburg County Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, American Association for Justice and Mecklenburg Trial Lawyers Association.
