Paxil
Paxil is the brand name for a depression medication called paroxetine hydrochloride, which is manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline. Paxil was approved by the for use as an inhibitor in the amount of serotonin reabsorbed by sender nerve cells, increasing the amount of serotonin available for receiver nerve cells.
Although Paxil is still currently on the market, there are a number of lawsuits being filed against GlaxoSmithKline in response to the serious side effects Paxil can cause.
