Safety Measures for Panthers Fan Fest Pay Off

Thousands of people attended the annual Carolina Panthers Fan Fest over the weekend. Children of all ages got the chance to see and interact with football players and cheerleaders as the team gears up for its 2013 football season.

The streets of uptown Charlotte looked like a game day weekend as parents and children flocked to the stadium and surrounding area in jerseys and panther attire to show support for the home team.

The event was free to the public and several people took advantage of this great opportunity to get a glimpse of what the Panthers would look like this year. Security officials were up bright and early preparing for the event to ensure safety. Just as the sun was rising over Bank of America stadium security officials were coming from all directions to ensure that all guests were safe. With walkie-talkies fully charged, security personnel wore shirts marked with words like “security” and safely implemented the safety strategy for the event.
