Viagra Linked To Skin Cancer

Study Suggests Viagra Use Linked to Dangerous Form of Skin Cancer.

The Law Offices of Michael A. DeMayo, L.L.P. are investigating claims that the drug Viagra (sildenafil) may lead to an increased risk of melanoma in men who have used Viagra. Viagra is manufactured by Pfizer (NYSE: PFE), and has been prescribed to over 20 million men since it was approved to treat erectile dysfunction in 1998.  The popular “blue pill” was the subject of a recent study in the Journal of the American Medical Association, which suggested a link between Viagra use and melanoma.

The study did not include other popular medications prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction such as tadalafil (Cialis) and vardenafil (Levitra), because they were not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) when the study began.  The researchers did indicate the need for additional research.

If you have been dignosed with melanoma after using Viagra or another drug used to treat erectile dysfunction, you may be eligible for compensation for your medical bills, pain and suffering, and other costs and expenses.  For a Free Case Evaluation, contact the Law Offices of Michael A. 2014 Study by The Journal of American Medical Association

Viagra (also known as sildenafil), a medication prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction may be linked to melanoma, a dangerous form of skin cancer.  An April 2014 study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) identifies a correlation between sildenafil / Viagra use and melanoma.  The study found that men using Viagra were 84 percent more likely to develop melanoma than men that were not using the drug. The study involving 25,000 patients found that compared to patients that had not used Viagra, patients that had previously used Viagra were twice as likely to develop melanoma.

Anyone that has been diagnosed with melanoma after using Viagra or another erectile dysfunction drug, may be entitled to be compensated for the bills for their medical treatment, pain, suffering and additional costs and expenses.  To receive a free case evaluation from the Law Offices of Michael A.
