Rebecca L. Lepkowski is the Social Security Disability attorney at the Law Offices of Michael A. DeMayo, L.L.P. Ms. Lepkowski earned her B.A. at the University of Pittsburgh, where she dual majored in Political Science and History. As a student at the University of Pittsburgh, Ms. Lepkowski was on the Dean’s List, was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, and was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Ms. Lepkowski graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. While at Creighton University School of Law, Ms. Lepkowski was on the Dean’s Honor Roll, worked as a Legal Writing Associate, as a clerk at the Douglas County Attorney’s Office, then as clerk at the Douglas County Public Defender’s Office, and earned a CALI award for Excellence in Bioethics and the Law.
Ms. Lepkowski was admitted to the Nebraska Bar in 2006 and the North Carolina Bar in 2016. She is a member of the Nebraska Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar, the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Ms. Lepkowski has over ten years of experience, first in trial and appellate work as an assistant Public Defender, and later representing clients at Social Security Disability hearings and through the complex Social Security Disability process.
Ms. Lepkowski is married. Her husband is a former United States Air Force Officer and a current commercial airline pilot. Both Ms. and Mr. Lepkowski enjoy spending time with their two dogs and cat.
